Your insight about discovering how to go within resonates deeply with me, Priscilla. Thank you for this beautiful reminder. I also appreciated being reminded of Teresa of Avila and Ibn Al Arabi and the other contemplatives of mystical traditions.

Thanks, Louise, for letting me know! Life does tend to take us in unexpected places. I didn't want to go this way, but now I can't imagine living without this connection.

I was leaning into connection with nature this morning in my mind (still cuddled in bed), imagining all the beings and connections available to me, in and out of my house - both receiving and then giving, then a flow, like breathing. And this is not a practice anyone taught, rather one that has become available to me over the years, no doubt through reading and studying in some ways, and through leaning into what feels right in to me in others. And then I read this, which was so gratifying. So thank you!

"A flow, like breathing." Just beautiful!—the deep sustenance that becomes available when we listen for what is needed in our own being. I'm going to remember this meditation in the oh-dark-hundred hour when I am awake and need to remember connections. Thanks for sharing it!
